Dormakaba credentials can look similar while using different technology. Upload clear, well-lit photos of the entire front and back of your working original during checkout. Include every visible number, logo, or model marking.

Choosing OEM changes the physical fob, not the compatibility requirement. The original credential must still be reviewed and supported.

Test before sticking: Hold the sticker behind the phone and test it at your reader. Some phones and cases can interfere with RFID performance.

What you need before starting

  • Your working, authorized original Dormakaba credential.
  • Clear front-and-back photos for compatibility review.
  • The compatible credential supplied with this product.
  • The required Sumokey high-frequency cloning device and cable, if not already owned.
  • A supported Mac or Windows computer that meets the current setup-guide requirements.

Important: Blank credentials purchased elsewhere are not supported by this kit.

How Dormakaba key fob programming works

  1. Choose the copy format. Select the original-look OEM Dormakaba fob or an aftermarket black fob, white card, or round black sticker, then enter the number of copies.
  2. Choose the workflow. Rent the compatible high-frequency cloning kit, select the returning-customer option if you already have the required kit, or choose mail-in service and email support.
  3. Upload photos. Send clear images of the front, back, and visible markings so the team can review the Dormakaba fob before fulfillment.
  4. Follow the guided process. After the kit arrives, use the current instructions to read your working original and write the supported data to the compatible Sumokey credential.

Know what to expect

  • Compatibility depends on the exact original credential and access system; photo review helps identify the correct workflow.
  • Choose the OEM Dormakaba option if you want the copy to look like the original; aftermarket formats intentionally look different.
  • Test the finished copy anywhere your authorized original is expected to work.
  • Keep the original until the new copy has been tested successfully.

This product is intended for select compatible Dormakaba 10620, M+2K, PM+2K, and M+2K7 credentials. Upload clear front-and-back photos because appearance alone does not confirm compatibility.
Can Sumokey copy a Dormakaba D EV3 4K key fob?
Some Dormakaba D EV3 4K or PD EV3 4K credentials may require a specialized workflow rather than this standard at-home kit. Email clear photos and visible markings to support before ordering so the team can review your exact fob.
Can I get an OEM Dormakaba key fob?

Do I need a cloning kit?
Choose the rental kit if you need the required high-frequency hardware and have a compatible Mac or Windows 10-or-newer PC. Returning customers with the required kit can select no kit, and customers who prefer not to clone at home can choose mail-in service and email support.
Can I copy a Dormakaba fob to my phone?
No phone-copy workflow is offered on this page. Choose one of the compatible physical formats listed in the product options. The sticker can be attached to a phone or case only after you test it for reliable reader performance.
Can Home Depot or a key-copy kiosk duplicate this fob?
Traditional key-cutting services are designed for metal keys, and many kiosks do not support the same high-frequency credential workflow. This kit is for select compatible electronic Dormakaba key fobs after photo verification.
Can I use a blank key fob purchased elsewhere?
No. Third-party blanks are not supported by this kit. Select a compatible fob, card, or sticker from the product options.
What is the difference between OEM and aftermarket?
